Visit the Pambre Castle
This is a beautiful fortress of the XIV century located on the Banks of the Pambre river. The castle was built by Gonzalo Ozores de Ulloa and was proclamed historical heritage in 1994. The building could be visited from Tuesday to Sunday (from 11:00 to 13:00 and from 16:00 to 20:00). The tour will be led by representatives assigned by the town hall of Palas de Rei.
Visit the monastery of San Salvador de Vilar de Donas
This special church was built in the middle of the twelfth century as a monastic church. This building is linked to the Order of the Knights of Santiago and the Templars.
Mácara´s torrent
This is a stretch of the Ulla River formed by torrents, waterfalls and pools. It has a trail near the river to enjoy the connection between nature and water life.
